Chemical Safety
1. Always keep chemicals out of reach of children.

2. Read product labels carefully prior to use.

3. Always add chemicals to water, do not add water to chemicals. Dry chemicals should be dissolved in water prior to adding them to the spa. Using a clean container, dip some water from the spa, add chemicals and mix until dissolved, then add mixture to circulating spa.

4. CAUTION Do not add chemicals together. Add them separately to the spa water.

5, All chemical products should be stored in a cool, dry, well ventilated area. Try to keep the average daily storage temperature below 90° F. Keep storage area clean and free of debris such as rags, newspapers and other combustibles.

6. Keep chemicals away from open flame or other heat sources. Do not smoke near chemicals. If a dry chlorine chemical fire should occur, use water only. Do not use a dry chemical fire extinguisher to put out a dry chlorine fire.

7. When adding chemicals, always have the water circulating in the spa with jets pointed in a downward circular pattern for better chemical distribution. Add chemicals to the spa water one at a time. Allow several minutes between chemical additions using the jet action to evenly mix the chemicals into the water.

8. Wait approximately 15 minutes after adding chemicals to retest water and enter tub.

9. If you have any more questions or concerns about the correct procedures for handling the chemicals for your Softub, please contact Softub of the Rockies.

Softub Cautions
1. Read and follow all instructions.

2. WARNING To reduce the risk of injury, do not permit children to use the Softub unsupervised. Secure lid when not in use. Extreme caution must be exercised to prevent unauthorized access by children.

3. A wire connector is provided under the motor unit to permit connection of a minimum No. 8 AWG solid copper connector between this point and any metal equipment, metal enclosures or electrical equipment, metal water pipe, or conduit within 5 feet of the unit.

4. DANGER To Avoid Risk of Injury: Replace damaged cord immediately; Do not Bury cord; Connect to a grounded, grounding type receptacle; Do not connect using an extension cord.

5. WARNING This appliance is provided with a ground-fault circuit interrupter. (Located near the end of the power cord). The CFCI must be tested before each use. With the plug connected to the power supply and with the unit operating, push the test button. The unit should stop operating. Push the reset button and the unit should now start back up. If your unit does not operate in this manner, there is a ground current flowing that could potentially cause an electrical shock. Disconnect the plug until the fault has been identified and corrected.

7. DANGER Never use the spa if the suction fittings are broken or missing. The suction fittings in this spa are designed to match the specific water flow created by the pump. If you should need to replace these fittings or the pump, be sure the flow rates are compatible. Never replace a suction fitting with one rated less than the flow rate of the original fitting.

8. DANGER Install at least five feet from metal surfaces. (If you must, see #3). Do not operate any electrical appliance, such as a light, telephone, radio, or television within 5 feet of the spa.

Please follow these basic safety precautions when installing, treating and enjoying your Softub.
