| Always keep the water level at least 2 inches above the top jet. This will ensure that the jets do not spray water out of the tub, as well as not over-working the motor. The lid should not float on the water when in place; this would indicate an over-filled tub. |

- A: Check Water Balance It is important to test your water chemistry after each use or no less than twice a week. Avoid low pH, this can cause wrinkles to form in the liner and could void your warranty.
- B: Chemical Additions Always have the water circulating when adding chemicals. Add only one chemical at a time. Floating dispensers are not recommended. They can lead to over-concentration of sanitizer, which can lower the pH and result in liner damage. Do not use gas chlorination, ionizers, scents, salts or soaps that are not approved for use in the Softub Spa. Softcare offers a series of approved water additive products to enhance your spa experience.
- C: Cleanliness To avoid oil and other build up on the vinyl at water level, clean as needed with the Duramitt, use a Scum Bug and add Spa Perfect as directed on the bottle. Always keep your Softub covered when not in use to prevent airborne debris from getting in. Use a Hand Skimmer to remove floating debris. Remove sand and debris from the bottom your Softub as needed to prevent damage to the liner using the Grit Gitter. Empty your Softub and refill with clean water 2-3 times per year or when it becomes cloudy and proper water chemistry does not clear it up.
- D: Repair If your liner does get a tear or puncture, contact Softubs of the Rockies for advice.

- A: Cleaning Use a mild soap and water solution to wash the vinyl, then rinse with clean water. Avoid abrasive soaps, tools or any other solvents. Improper use of these products can void the warranty. For cleaning and protection we recommend Squeeze 'n' Clean and 303 Spray Protectant.
- B: Solar Exposure If your softub is outside, we strongly recommend the use of the Softub Protective Cover. This will protect your Softub from direct ultra-violet (UV) exposure, keep rain water out of the tub and keep the surface clean. If you place a dark colored Softub in direct sunlight, the use of a Softub Protective Cover is mandatory to protect the warranty. Never cover your Softub with a transparent plastic covering.
- C: Repair If your exterior does get a tear or puncture, please contact Softubs of the Rockies for advice.

Clean your filter at least once a month depending on usage. Remove the filter in warm water, remove the outer sock and follow the instructions on your bottle of Softcare Filter Renu to clean your filter. Replace the sock and snap the filter into place on either of the suction covers. Rotate the filter until it has a 1/2 inch clearance between the filter and the Softub bottom. You should replace your Unifilter at least once a year.
Note: For ease of filter installation, please soak the filter in warm water for at least two minutes. Do not attempt to remove or install the filter unless the connector is warm.

Empty and clean your Softub 2-3 times a year or when the water becomes difficult to manage. Always unplug the motor unit before draining the tub. If you pump water out of your Softub, do not allow the suction end of the hose to contact the vinyl-this may damage the vinyl.
Note: Always use Swirl Away prior to draining your Softub. Swirl away removes build up in the plumbing lines and cleans the interior spa surface.
If the tub is located outdoors, disconnecting the motor unit from the tub will allow the spa to drain quickly from the two ports down to about 3" of water. Alternately, or if your tub is located indoors, you can drain the tub with a siphon or with a Softub approved Submersible Pump.
Always use warm and/or cold water to fill, making sure the temperature does not exceed 104° F. To reduce warm up time, you may intermittently use a hot water tap from your home, if you are not using a water softening device.

If you are taking a vacation or leaving your softub outdoors and unused for a week or more, leave the lid on, close the air control valve, and set the water temperature to 80°. This will protect your Softub from freezing and continue water filtration. When your are ready to use your Softub after its dormancy, check and adjust your sanitizer and pH levels. Set your temperature to the desired level.
If you plan on leaving your Softub for an extended period of time, or do not plan to use it, drain the system completely. Clean and dry the liner. Put the lid on the tub. Disconnect the Power Pak and place it hoses down to facilitate the draining of the internal plumbing. Failure to do so can severely damage your Power Pak in the event of freezing. Protect the Softub and Power Pak from sun and weather.
