TheraSauna - Technologies

TheraSauna uses a high-tech infrared TheraMitter. Other sauna brands use sheathed tubular radiant heaters with an efficiency of 50%. TheraSaunas are the most economical to operate. TheraMitters reach full output in 5 to 6 minutes. Conventional saunas can take 30 to 60 minutes to heat up. A 30 minute session in a TheraSauna cost only pennies a day.

The TheraHeat control system maintains the output of infrared at the 9.4 micron level. Other sauna heating units turn on and off creating variable temperature and a non-effective range of infrared.

Patented TheraSauna TheraMitters emit infrared in wave-lengths of 7 to 14 microns, with the greatest output at 9.4 microns. These wavelengths are similar to those emitted by the human body, so your body absorbs more benificial infrared in a shorter treatment time.

TheraSauna operates at safer, more comfortable temperatures of 110º F to 130º F.
